Meet Dr. Diane Alvarez
As a periodontist, Dr. Diane Alvarez is a specialist in the treatment of gum and bone tissue and in the placing of dental implants. She went into dentistry because it allowed her to fulfill her passion for helping others and her love of science. She enjoys getting to meet new people and helping them attain the smiles they have always wanted. Her expertise lies in her ability to help improve the health of her patients’ gums and the underlying tissue that support the teeth. Her approach to dentistry is to provide expert individualized and patient-centered treatment.
Education and Advanced Training
Dr. Alvarez received her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 and completed her periodontic specialist training at Nova Southeastern University in 2011. She is passionate about periodontics and, through regular continuing education, stays up-to-date with the latest advances in her field.
